Welcome to Little Classroom

We are delighted you are considering our programme, which offers a real-life play and learning experience. We aim to provide your child with a solid foundation for their educational journey. Our programme is tailored to meet your child's needs by following the children's passions and interests and through our unique "Let's Learn, Let's Play, and Let's Grow" Montessori approach. Our goal is to nurture happy, confident young learners who thrive.

We provide after-school and home education primary classes for children aged 4–11. Our classes cover Reading, Phonics, SPAG, Comprehension, Writing and Maths. Children will benefit from our provision-based learning, both indoors and outdoors, receiving individual attention to help build confidence and foster a love of learning.​

We offer school readiness classes for 3- and 4-year-olds, providing parents with an alternative to nurseries or childminders. Your child will take part in focused, play-based learning sessions in small groups of six, giving them tailored support and attention. Our classes cover the prime and specific areas of the EYFS, including Level 1 phonics, mark making and early writing skills, and a strong foundation in maths, helping children develop the key skills they need to start school confidently and successfully..

Nestled in the picturesque village of Rodley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, and close to Farsley, Calverley, Apperley Bridge and Horsforth, our face-to-face learning centre at Rodley Fold Farm offers a tranquil setting for your child to thrive. Little Classroom has been created on the grounds of our home, providing a natural, calming and safe environment where children can learn, play and grow.

At Little Classroom, we prioritise the safety and care of your child. As an experienced teacher and primary school leader with 16 years of experience, I am committed to providing the best education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage and National Curriculum. Our educational institution is a member of The Tutor Association and meets all recommendations, including enhanced and updated service DBS, paediatric first aid trained, level 4 safeguarding trained, Qualified Teacher Status and Primary Degree with an Early Years specialism and relevant insurance. Our purposefully designed single-space classroom has a kitchen, a toilet, and direct access to our private garden and allotment.
