About Us
Little Classroom is a specialist home education and primary learning centre for children aged 3 to 11, offering home education, pre-school and after school classes in a calm, nurturing environment.
We believe children learn best through play, exploration and meaningful experiences. Our small group sessions are child led and play based, carefully designed to support each child as an individual. We focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing and maths while encouraging confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning.

Little Classroom was founded by Hannah Foster, who had a clear vision to create the classroom she had always dreamed of and a setting that reflects what she truly believes is right for children. With over 16 years’ experience as a senior teacher and school leader.

The first Little Classroom opened in Rodley, Leeds, and continues to grow as families seek a supportive, high quality approach to learning that allows children to learn, play and grow with confidence.
Our Let's Learn, Let's Play, Let's Grow Approach
Let’s Learn, Let’s Play, Let’s Grow is our child centred approach to learning at Little Classroom. It brings together best practice from the Early Years Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum to support confident, well rounded learners.

Let’s Learn focuses on cross curricular learning in reading, writing and maths, making lessons engaging while building essential skills and knowledge.

Let’s Play recognises that children learn best through play. Carefully planned provision areas in our indoor and outdoor spaces encourage hands on learning, problem solving and real life skills through children’s interests.

Let’s Grow supports confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours, helping children develop a strong love of learning.

We use lots of positive praise to celebrate children’s efforts and achievements, building confidence and motivation through encouragement and specialist Little Classroom stickers.
